This program is pretty awesome, no problems with it so far! The only criticism I have of it right now is the lacking GUI but it's not like I'm watching that anyway

mine still crash on exit

anyone face same problem?

MINE GETS AN ERROR EXCEPTION when i try to launch it after i install it using wad installer.

OMG?? But the Homebrew Channel one works..

yeah ur getting crash on exit because it will only exit from the homebrew channel...someone needs to program it to exit to wii main menu

It will always crash on exit, because this program wasn't meant to function as a channel. You should only launch it from the Homebrew Channel, so this is a worthless exercise. You are not saving any steps by having to get up and reset a crashed Wii.

It's a pity that the original release from the author gets little impression than the unofficial channel version.

what's the problem with you guys? if there is demand for it to be a channel I don't think it would be a problem for the developer to do the job.

if you provide a patch to improve the app it's ok... but it sucks homebrew just reflected this way....
if you want to release it as a channel then patch either the source code or executable to behave.. the other way... it's just nuisance...

Not to be insulting or anything, but the image posted in the first post reminded me of a sperm cell.

Great app but when I launch an avi file from sdcard (700mb movie) I get loads of numbers and text in white and it says code dump: *random numbers* and I have to turn my wii off =/

EDIT: am I pushing mplayer a bit by trying to make it play a large movie? XD

Shame...i looking for a media player with the function to load a external subtitle...

I try this version tonight

v0.05
added file folders support
added fix for PAL widescreen users (set the correct setting in mplayerwii.conf)
much faster USB reading speed (huge thanks to rodries)

It's not possible to make a channel of the GeeXbox! I tried it, but it doesn't work
