Hey everyone,

Just a quick one to see if anyone knows how to do what I need to do.

I use Mplayer to watch movies on my Wii which are stored on my USB HDD. I have recently formatted the drive and set it up with two partitions, the first for backup games using a USB loader, and the second I want to put my movies back on.

When I do this I can not access the second partiton with Mplayer.

What can I do that will enable me to play backup games and watch my movies that are on both the same hard drive???

Thanks in advance....

Thanks for the response, and sorry for asking something that has already been covered.

Is there a way of swapping partitions without loosing all the backups on the first partition???

actually that happened to me too...

I formatted and made the first 140Gb WBFS and the remaining 5Gb FAT32

It did not read the FAT32 section

since I had spent time transferring my games i did not want to format all over and waste time

So I just stuck it in windows XP via USB and under "Computer Management" -> "Disk Management" made the FAT32 "Mark Partition as Active"

The WBFS partition remained the same with all my games on and still reading in Wii

And then via CE-Mplayer tested 0.5 its showed my files

whooohoooooo

@The Real Jdbye, I thought about that and I have blank DVD's and Blurays but honestly after like 90 songs I just listen to it a couple of hundred times toss it out and burn something else or have like 2-3 CD's. Florida here the heat in the car tends to ruin the CD's after like a few months even commercial pressed ones don't last too long.
