Hacking Motion pack that comes with tony hawk work with homebrew

Does the motion pack that comes with the tony hawk game work with motion homebrew and stuff like controlling mario kart with an action replay code? I want to get one because getting a nds Motion Pak is hard because they arent sold and i don't want a slot 1 Motion Card because i use a slot 1 flash cart.
