Mother series to get manga anthology titled "Pollyanna"
Just as promised, publisher Hobonichi has elaborated a bit more on their plans for the Mother Project, a new venture that would see the release of franchise-related merchandise. A Japanese trailer revealed the newly-announced Pollyanna anthology comic, which is a collection of short, unrelated stories set in the Mother universe, each drawn by different artists. 35 different illustrators will be working on the manga, including Undertale creator Toby Fox, as well as manga artist Keiichi Arawi known for creating Nichijou, and Mother 3 art director Nobuhiro Imagawa all listed within the credits. Pre-orders for the manga will go live on June 12th exclusively on the Hobonichi store, with general pre-orders to open up for other retailers on June 25th. No English release has been confirmed yet. The trailer ends on a teaser of "to be continued", implying there's still more news to be revealed.
