Gaming Most Hated Pokemon Things

Most hated move: All stats affecting moves ( I think lowering defense and attack is pointless if you have a lv 100 Blaziken)
Most hated pokemon: Most of the D/P (except Toterra, Giratina and the piplup family) most look pretty stupid and old
Most hated battle: Battle Tower Battles( Cos I suck at this; my pokemon are severely under-leveled except for some)
Most hated gym: None ( the puzzles are still ok.....)
Most hated rival: D/P rival
Most hated game: Pokemon games on wii (Pokemon is still great on the portables)

I just noticed how much I HATE the path to Snowpoint City. God, it takes so long...I HATE IT.

Reminds me of rock tunnel in the old red/blue/yellow. My god was that unfair. And flash...I HATE IT

Most hated move: Sand-attack, double team... pretty much any attack that makes your moves miss. Confusion with a 50% fail rate is just BS
Most hated pokemon: zubat/golbat and tentacool the most common wild pokemon in the game that force me to use max repels
Most hated battle: Steven from Ruby/Emerald/Sapphire. His pokemon are ridiculously high levels 75-78 how do you expect to defeat them when the elite four is only like up to level 50
Most hated gym: Whitney the normal type gym leader who is freakin ridiculous to take out without a fighting type... i hate her so much
Most hated rival: Gary, i know he's an original, but he is just to damn arrogant.
Most hated game: Don't have one.

Most hated move: I think Protect/Detect etc. is useless and time wasting

Most hated pokemon: Musharna, cause it's so incredibly gay

Most hated battle: The elite 4 the second time around in soulsilver gave me a bit of trouble I think

Most hated gym: ...I don't really remember a particular gym from all the games, just any that goes directly against your starter and you haven't trained another pokemon enough to counteract that.

Most hated rival: The dude for gold/silver is pretty difficult at times.

Most hated game: That's really hard for me to say. I think hate is the wrong word for me, i'm most disappointed in white/black because for me the content of the game just doesn't feel as expansive especially when compared to say soulsilver/heartgold as well as what I believe are the most pathetic new pokemon to date. The graphics are really nice though, i'll definitely give it that over the other games.

EDIT: Only just realised my answer for that last one could be ANY pokemon game. Mystery dungeon has to be one of the lamest games i've ever played.

It's called "strategy."
I can understand if you said "every time i try attacking, my opponent stops it".
However, the moves are far from useless, and if you have a good strategy set up, your opponent will suffer because of that turn.
I highly recommend broadening your tactics beyond "hit stuff till it dies".


by the way, feel free to hate protect; just realise its not useless.....unlike say, splash.

Most hated pokemon: Farfetch'd and Luvdisc (this is how Game Freak trolls)
Most hated battle: vs. Lance and Lorelei in R/B/Y (I blame myself for going to the E4 with an underleveled Venasaur and Pidgeot)
Most hated gym: None (I found all of them quite easy)
Most hated rival: Barry (Shut the fuck up please)
Most hated game: Pokemon Dash (One of the most annoying racing games I've ever played)

Protect and Detect both have a very large number of uses. For example, activating a wish from the previous turn without getting attacked, or using it in conjunction with Toxic or Sandstorm, or even just gaining an extra turn of Leftover usage. I found it quite funny when I was actually able to stall Alder with Protect and Toxic.

Rest is a fantastic move, especially for stalling. A hydration Vaporeon in the rain or even just the typical RestLax, totally amazing. Another is Suicune. It's amazing how when I was a Poken00b I thought Rest sucked. Now, I think it's fantastic.

Most hated Pokémon: Skuntank's line, because of the looks.
Most hated battle: Any PI in the Gen IV Frontier. They spam OHKO's and Explosion.

Most hated rival: May/Brendan. Come on, evolve your starter to the final stage and allow rebattles like ALL the others.
