    Hey,

I just got my AK2i today and have loaded all of my games and homebrew onto it. AKAIO has a built in mp3 player that has an easy to use interface and shuffle feature. I also really like Moonshell 2 because of it's ability to watch movies etc., but I haven't been able to find a shuffle function for music. Is there one?

    Thanks a lot!

Yeah there is press L + left direcction button. You will see 4 icons the last one is repeat or shuffle.

    Great, thanks a lot!

Too bad I just got a "System File Missing" error when I tried to boot my Ak2i...

To shuffle it looks like you need all of your music in one folder? I currently have each artist with their own folder, but that doesn't seem to work.

    Hell.
use lick's media player, it's the one built into the acekard. It doesn't need all your music in one folder

Seems people do use their DS's as music players O_O.

Um, yeah, sometimes people either don't have the money to buy two separate devices or simply don't wish to carry them both around all the time. I used my DS as an mp3 player for a solid two years until I got an iPod as a gift, and it worked well enough for my purposes. The space limitation was a slight issue, yes, but otherwise I saw nothing wrong with the setup.

    Your nearest supermarket
L+R+A => Play all mp3's on your sd
L+A => Play all mp3's in the highlighted folder

Then use L+Down until it says shuffle.

Great thanks! It's actually R+ A. But anyways, once I get my bigger sd card, I will check this out (right now it looks like shuffle is working with LRA, but not with RA in a selected folder...it just plays them in the same order without shuffling).

I read books via moonshell. Being able to play MP3's while I read is the main reason I use moonshell (aside from watching Yugioh the abridged series portable style)
