Well, this game had a problem to me. As a normal start, I just had black screen. With gecko os, it gave me the error 002.
I installed softchip in the homebrew channel, then I turned on 'enable' the option about error 002. Then I had a green fixed screen. I changed language on 'japanese' then I started changing ios, and finally I found the IOS061 that started the game, even after connecting the classic controller (lot of people have black screen after connecting the classic controller). My wii has a d2lite chip on and is updated with the last update for european consoles.
This game is now turning my wife into 'super happy', as she's japanese and loves this videogame.
I hope this will be useful for somebody there.

It's a bit odd, I've downloaded and burned flawlessly my monster hunter tri, and when I load it with backup loader, it appears that the console gets it as a GC game, since the GC backup loader is appearing at boot LOL, then freeze...
Maybe bad iso? I've got cios36 Rev09, and also I've got patched mios with the GC backup launcher 0.2 and sys menu 3.3Ev1.

could someone pm me a link for tri, ive looked EVERYWHERE it seems and i still cant find that little demo =P
I have a suspicion that the reason that we can't get this game to work is because it can't create a save file, so if anyone who has gotten the game to work could post their save file it would be much appreciated.
There's no save for it, it's a demo...... (Well, I havent checked my Wii system memory, but at no point has it paused to save)
anyone figure out if installing the update ios's works? Then running it on wanin's 3g?

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.+1 -

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.+1 -

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme -

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.
