Hacking Modmii is still the way to go?

Hey i only soft modded 1 Wii b4 using and i used Modmii which was simple enough for me to use, is this still the preferred way or is there something better now?

I want to load backups from a USB or a Flash card whatever they're called

Of course it's the best way. If there's something better now, it must be the files ModMii gives you. Y'know, updates and shit like that.

Yeah, ModMii is still the de-facto way to get your Wii modded in the first place. Wiiflow is a USB loader on the same level as USB Loader GX and Configurable USB Loader.

You'd use one of those loaders to load ISOs once your Wii is modded, usually via the means of ModMii.

Problem: I go through the usual modmii installation and it gets up to trying to download the Hackmii installer and it just keeps trying to connect to bootmii.org, it says "a duplicate file name exists or the file cannot be found"

"error: cannot find archive"

"the file is missing, retrying download"

HackMii Installer: Missing
BootMii SD Files: Missing

"press next to retry"

its just a constant loop of this

You could use the latest Pimp My Wii if you can't get Modmii going. Some say pimp my wii is dangerous but I use to repair and softmod Wiis at one point and I used Pimp My Wii with no issues but its ultimately your decision.

It might be trying to download LetterBomb and is failing. Try using an alternate method of exploit, like Smash Stack or Bathaxx.

Bootmii is back up so the letter bomb download ought to work now.
