Formatting the sd card for fat32 now.

Would it be possible for someone to send me the contents of their sd card to me? or at the least take a screen shot of it? Just so i can reference what im missing.

If this doesnt work im planning on starting from step 1 of this guide and starting over. No one sees any problems with that, right?

Just follow it from the beginning. You only got to step 1a and haven't done any cIOS stuff right?

But i stoped after AnyTitleDeleter since i only want to Trucha enable IOS36 and i dont need any cIOS or preloader atm.

No! I followed the whole thing. I was playing backups 2 days ago. Formatted the SD card by mistake yesterday.

Oh I just read your very first post. You shouldn't have to go through the guide again then. I'm still unsure as to why HBC doesn't see the apps. You mention you are using USB Loader GX. Did you redownload and install USB Loader GX?

On step 4a

When i hit A to Install Custom IOS 202 and select IOS38 merged with IOS60, it just jams. nothing happens.

any ideas?

For clarity I updated my Wii to V.4.2 and was very very careful following steps 1-3. Reading everything making sure everything when threw. It's an old Wii so I installed Boot-Mii to slot-2. It's also fitted with a WiiKey (dont know the firmware). I know I don't need to soft mod but it will still be fun to do so. (trying to gain experience)

Since I don't see a fix here, I just want to say that I am also having the same problem. Steps 1-3 worked fine but my Wii hangs up on step 4a. I am also modding an older Wii (Boot-Mii in slot-2); however, I do not have a WiiKey fitted like the quoted poster. I'm new to Wii modding so any help would be appreciated.

Nope, was planning on trying wiiflow when this whole mistake happened.

I never installed USB Loader the first time, was just running it from HBC. Figured it wouldn't be an issue and at this point am just trying to get things to show up in HBC again.

Going to fire up the wii and poke around again, see if anything else is amiss or if I can provide anymore details.

Ok. Well same issue. Nothing in HBC

Also! Bootmii doesn't seem to be working, tried accessing it from HBC via the home button, as well as from pre-loader. Wii hangs and the drive light keeps blinking.

Any ideas?

Try running Bannerbomb.

Not working. Getting the message "The device inserted into the SD slot cannot be used."

SD card worked the other day.

EDIT: Tried all 3 revisions on bannerbomb's site as well. I know one of those worked on sunday.

WHOOO HOO!

Just dug out my old ass digital camera for the SD card. Threw the files on there, and bannerbomb worked, so before I did anything, checked out HBC...... IT"S BACK!

Ok, going to create a nand backup and install wiiflow. Appreciate all the help.

What the hell could be up with the SD card though? I don't get it..

EDIT: Stnrage.... just threw the SD card i was having issues with in the camera and it gave me an SD card error after I wiped it and put it in fresh.

2. What's the chance of me getting a brick if i follow your instructions? EXACTLY.
3. I was told you cannot downgrade a lu66 wii yet you say so in your guide to downgrade IOS 15?
4. Will you please write back?
5. PLZ?!?! I DONT WANNA BRICK MA WII!!!

Dude. I was also scared to the first time I hacked my Wii. This guide is the best one I've seen so just take your time, don't rush, and read carefully. The steps with "cIOS 222/223 installer v4" can definitely get confusing with all the 249, 222, 202, etc. Best bet is to print out the guide and mark it off as you go along. Good luck!

PAL or NTSC version of the games? What backup loader are you using? Neogamma R7 has worked fine for those 2 games in NTSC. The first time with Wii Sport Resort I had to change the "alt .dol" to "Disc". The after you select load dvd you'll see a . Press right to change it to . It will load up the Wii Motion Plus instructional video. After that changed it back to default "no" and it should play just fine.
