Tutorial Modify ANY Wii 4.3 & below

1a] Run Trucha Bug Restorer
Press B to choose No IOS Reload.
Wait till it says Press 1 then press it.
Go to Downgrade IOS15.
Press A to downgrade.
Everytime it says "load IOS from SD" press A.



ok this is what it says when it goes to install tickets

ES_AddTitelStart Returned -1035 maybe you need an updated downgrader

Hint:
Get the required IOS files as wads on sd card before starting TBR. You can easiliy download them with NUS Downloader
(see WiiBrew.org for download link). The names TBR expects are:
IOS15-64-v257.wad
IOS15-64-v523.wad
IOS36-64-v3351.wad
IOS37-64-v3869.wad

thats what it says in the read me for Trucha Bug Restorer 1.1
But i cant find them at wiibrew.org




and the files i have are

as you can see they are not the same

your getting the wrong one

You sent it to me in a pm.
I dont seem to know how to the newmod.rar since in both of the methods it has the same email to get them from, believe me i have sent emails from various email accounts i have to both email contacts listed in the 4.1 & below method and the 4.2 method (they're the same)

Well......I finally got through the update. So relieved! Now have to get the USB loader working. My Wii says no USB connected when I use my Lexar 8GB jump drive. Tried formatting NFST and still not recognized. Tried both USB ports. It may not be one of the supported devices...still have to check into that.

Big shout out for xzxero and tj_cool and some others for the help along the way. Appreciated the help.

PS. I recall reading somewhere that the USB function was specific to one of the ports....which one?

its actually the TBR MOD.

The patched patched IOS70 is for preloader to load the system menu. U need to use wad manager 1.5 install patched ios 70 and then run system menu from preloader off ios 70.

ok everything went good until the preloader.. now nothing works not the homebrew chanel not the system menu or the system hacks.ini, but the pre loader opens when the wii is turned on.. please help me

i do still have the back up of the bootmii folder


ok i got the homebrew chanel back by putting the hacks.ini on the root of the sd i was able to get to the hacks.ini and then i installed homebrew via bootmii via the preloader, by clicking installed file
and am now sitting at the homebrew channel not know what to do because it still wont go to the system menu

is there a way to start over and and this time not do the preloader?

just back up you nand.bin and keys.bin and erase everything else then fill it up with homebrew
