3] Run Dop-IOS MOD
Choose IOS249 and press A.
Press right until you see IOS60.
Press - to select then press yes to install and Sig Hash Check.
Press right until you see IOS61.
Press A to select then press yes to install and no for Sig Hash Check.
Press home to return to HBC.

To which I respond with IOS249.

It then says "IOS succesfully loaded" and takes me to a screen that says "Are you sure you want to install IOS36 v3351?"
Your instructions do not mention this part, and I do not want to assume anything. Could you please clear this up?

btw, I've been looking through previous posts, and I haven't seen a clear answer yet.

quick question before I do.
1) I don't have an SDHC memory card on me right.. can I instead use a "Mirco SD adapter" which has 2gb space?
2) The guide mentions that it will update the wii to 4.2?.. currently 4.0u will it have any effect? cause I know fw 4.2 wipes HB

Do I update the wii thru wifi? or can I download the patch onto a sd card?

I have a 4.2u wii that I need to get downgraded. I unpacked the newmod.rar to SD and when trying to do the Bannerbomb exploit, I dont get the "would you like to boot load.dol", I get no screen and a "?" as one of the available selections.

Any thoughts?

1.turn on wii
2.press a
3.point wiimote at SD card icon at bottom of menu. u know the one on the bottom left.
4. press a
5.insert your SD card the SD card with banner bomb on it.
6.when you see "would you like to boot load.dol" select yes
7. follow on screen directions after that

I figured out what I was doing wrong. Before this, I was trying to access the boot.dol in the channels menu and not thru the quick launch from the main screen.

Worked like a charm! I am back up and running again! MUCH THANKS!

ok just finished upgrading the wii to 4.2u and downloaded the newmod.rar
now the question is that I don't have bootmii or anything installed
I should first install hackmii then move onto 1A?

hi guys need help here , thanx for any help offered . i have a 3.2 softmodded wii with cioscorp and preloader installed and im trying to use this 4.2and below any wii mod thing , i get to step 3 with dop ios my version i downloaded doesnt say dop ios mod it just says dop ios ,but that not the problem i get to step 3 and look for ios 249 but it isnt there i d/loaded dop ios v8 and it said 249 is v14 and wont let me click a to start the application ... any one know what the problem is and how to solve it thanx again to anyone who can help

what type of dvd are you using?
what brand?
what backup launcher?

need details guy.

USB Loader GX is very noob friendly... easy to understand GUI.
