gone thru previous posts but couldn't solve my problem, so here goes. i'm trying to hack my friend's old 3.1U, so far I've upgraded to 4.2U and made a NAND dump. ios236 v3 installer as provided in 42mod.zip failed, so i used v4 installer and it worked. in MMM i remove the stubbed IOS's (says there are no stubs), and when I try to install the WADs I get -2011 returned for each one except IOS58 which returns -1035. I tried things that I read in previous posts: I have switched to Connection #1 in my internet settings, and I don't have the option for IOS249 in "Load another IOS". I have tried the procedure twice from the NAND dump stage, the first time I had installed some channels from shop channel and thought that might have screwed things up, so I restored the NAND and stuck to the instructions and the problem persisted. I have not tried installing the necessary IOSs using their respective installers rather than the WADs thru MMM, would that yield a better result? Should I redownload the WADs using NUSD? Would I have better success with WAD Manager?
Syscheck doesn't complete, it just quits when the green bar is about half way thru. Please advise.
