is there anyway to hack a jap wii without buying yu-gi-oh? the only jap wii game i have is wii sports
XFlak said:If you are 4.2 or under, u don't need a disc at all
if u r on 4.3, then super smash brothers also works, but u need either that or yu-gi-oh
XFlak said:right, to mod ur 4.3 virgin jap wii, u need either a JAP copy of smash bros or a JAP copy of yu-gi-oh
Whoisyerdaddy said:hey guys, thanks to XFlak's recommendations and this great guide of xzxero's guide(god bless them all)
I could finish the modding of wii 4.3 without a problem. Thanks xflaks for the heads up about the working internet connection(i could have bricked the wii if it werent for your heads up),anyways, when I first set up the connection it asked me to update,i am pretty sure it was already updated to the latest version cuz it was after september 7 that I updated it,and it should have the latest 4.3v2 update,so what is wrong why it asks for another update?is nintendo working late again and loaded their servers up with just another update?
Anyways I just asked because i am curious,i installed priiloader&blocked disc and online updates.(i dont know if i did the right thing ,looking at the announcements about the crashes and very few bricks that occurred bec.of the network error)
One more question:which softwares gets affected by the crash(if network doesnt exist),does usbloadergx, wiiflow, cfgloader etc gets affected by this crash?
I have channel forwarders for them so does that crash affect forwarders too, because i dont open the HBC and i directly load the program from the main menu?
(SO xflak has already answered that in the previous page sorry
I found out that these software doesnt get affected by it)
And I also found out that Wiimc has no_ios_reload in it meta.xml,if I just delete this line am i in the safe zone?will the application still perform?

that might be a lot of questions sorry for that i must be enligtened)![]()
Thanks guys
It sees you don't have your ios's stubbed anymore.
Any application that is launched with the no ios reload will be affected...
I would assume so.
You can remove that line from wiimc, I believe it is only for dvd support though, so dvd support will most likely not work...
QUOTEDVD support via AHBPROT - requires latest HBC or latest WiiMC channel

As long as I have a wifi running i will be safe right? If I have a wifi do I need to delete no_ios_reload line from meta files?
and Eric it was right after installing HBC I adjusted the wifi settings and when it could connect it asked me right away if I wanted to update.I hadnt deleted the stub ios by then...They were still present. As the deleting stubs phase is a further step in the guide
