Updated priiloader, and added the Yu-Gi-Vah exploit. As soon as xz gets on, he will update the first post, the files are already updated.

They removed Priiloader 0.5, since its installer has a bug which can brick a wii:

Thx, I missed that because I have been working non stop this week. I am taking all the file packs down, and I will be trying to change several things tonight.

very concise guide

did anyone use this to mod a 4.3U wii successfully?

its because metriod has a full 4.3 update that update the korean IOS's

thats why you get the error -1035

the guide is being updated, but you can try to find the IOS236 installer around here somewhere that can do the job for you.

About the PAL version of the yugi exploit, it does indeed need a 60Hz tv and your settings to be 60Hz (480i) and also 4:3 at screen size, cause it wouldn't start with 60Hz (480i) 16:9... At least not on the Wii I was working on. So the setup needs to be 60Hz (not 480p) and 4:3. Hopefully someone can or will fix this in the PAL exploit.

Other than that, it worked great!

I'll wait till this guide and files are updated then. Will it include the 50hz/60hz as well?

There is a link to the zip which contains both on the first post. We can include either the 50 or 60, but not both at this time. As currently, the files needed for both override each other.

Do not stop to continue cIOS.zip! Many people think different different IOSs. Some may not want to have IOS56 as cIOS. So when the next rev of Waninkoko comes out (rev21), please, continue with cIOS.zip.

The cIOSrev20+ installer already allows you to install any base in any slot afaik...

Wondering if anyone can help I followed the 4.3 lesson to the exact. It works using the usb loader. I was wondering about triforce to play the wii ware games. It says I have to install Waninkoko's cIOS rev14 or 17. Do I not already have this because I can play games off a usb hardrive?

As always compliments on a great guide. I have been using the methods spelled out here for a while now. Just followed the latest 4.3 guide for a friends wii. Everything worked no problem but I realized after I was done that I never made a backup of the nand. I have become so religious in following your guides to the letter that it wasn't till I was done that I said to myself, "hey I never made a nand backup." I of course made one then but that was already after the whole thing was done and I was always used to backing up prior to the whole procedure. So I was wondering if it would be prudent to add that step to your 4.3 guide?

Thanks again,

iamwally

you have v20 of waninkokos cIOS, so you would need to downgrade your cIOS for triiforce.
its not worth it IMO, as compatabilty isn't the best.

the NAND backup you made should work fine.
it recommended to make it at the beginning tho just to have a cleaner NAND backup tho.

An already modded wii with IOS36 will get any benefit by changing it ot IOS236?

If so, is there a way to restore IOS36 to unpatched state?
