If a list can be compiled of all the obsolete, or unnecessarily dangerous soft-mod guides on this site, would it be possible to have them removed? People will still search out new and creative ways to brick their Wiis but it might slow the trend a tad.

Thanks.

agreed that they may have been a lot of work. but they don't all work on the new wiis so to prevent bricks and noob misuse it would be best to delete them so they are not found in google searches.

Uhhhh... I've got a robots.txt. Its an essay on why Robot Wars needed to have less sawblades, more real people as shields.

sorry, small bump. If a moderator would okay this, i'll get a list together and submit it to them. Otherwise, i'll leave it be.

Thanks again.

My final bump ever on this topic. I promise.

This is the best soft-modding thread on this site. Everything else is pretty much obsolete now. Stickying that guide would go a long way toward Wii-Modding Nirvana.

yea true thatt
aha and i dont just say that because its mine!
i tried writing a guide using the most up to date software to work with the newest model of wii's.

yea like how they have that trading forum, you need a certain amount of posts to view them so the noobs cant even see them

Another option would be to transfer the out of date guides to an archive only viewable by registered gbatemp users.
that would be good
many n00bs are registered users
unfortunately there will always be noobs
