just updated to the latest migflash firmware just now. titles show up, but still met with "Couldn't start the software" error. Might be a problem with my SD card. I'm going to wipe the sd card clean and start over see if that works.

update: didn't work. maybe because i'm on the latest switch2 update? the titles were dumped with my own cartridges and the dumps have the whole complete set of bins

I have tested and working for me without any issues.

Mig switch from ali express
SanDisk Ultra 512gb - Class 10 A1 MicroSDXC U1 I (Grey one).
My own clean dumps.

So to be clear, as of right now you can buy an Aliexpress Mig switch V2 and after an update can play your switch 1 backups on switch 2? Do you need the express SD card?

In airplane mode, would you get banned for this ( or more likely it remains to be seen if bans happen ) would you get banned for playing your own backups on it?

Hmm, so the new MIG Switch firmware 1.2.0 works well within Switch 1 OG games on a Switch 2 only with its FW 19, or even on a newest FW 20.1.1, too?..

It is obviously to early to say, but assuming the Mig is detected it had likely leave stains in the Telemetry Logs which are created and kept on the console until the next time it connects to the internet. Those logs cannot be deleted with a factory reset either.
This technically shouldn't be an issue with your own backups... but only with your own backups and only if Nintendo not added another detection mechanism for it. In worst case, just wait a little bit longer until someone tested the waters.

Just updated my mig switch to 1.2.0 but its still not working on my switch 2. It reads the games but the games don't launch. My mig switch is a v1 if that matters

EDIT:
Taking out the game card while the light is green and putting it back in causes it to work
