There is a new firmware version 1.1.9 on their .com website (I heard that it is official and .net is a US reseller???). The .net site only has 1.1.8.Official statement from MIG with a video demonstration of the upcoming update.
Version 1.1.9 is before the Switch 2 launch. I know since I downloaded this a few weeks ago. There is a new firmware version 1.1.9 on their .com website (I heard that it is official and .net is a US reseller???). The .net site only has 1.1.8.
I tried downloading it yesterday, and it did not work, but today it downloaded the firmware.

Interesting. I wonder why the download was not working the past few days.Version 1.1.9 is before the Switch 2 launch. I know since I downloaded this a few weeks ago.

Yep, that's correct.I'm interested in homebrew, if I understand well, an XCI is supposed to come with some sort of keys (I guess), so that it's legit to Big N eyes ?
Thus, I can imagin there will never be any solution to work with homebrews (especially Retroarch and Mame) and the Mig Switch unless there's a way to "sign" or validate the homebrew, is that right ?
The server was broken until today.Interesting. I wonder why the download was not working the past few days.
Dang that was faster than I expected. Still not buying a Switch Pro until it can boot Switch Pro games.Official statement from MIG with a video demonstration of the upcoming update.
Can someone explain this, please? Wasn't the migswitch on the first title, and he launched the third title? It's blurry but seems like echoes of wisdom is the first one, and the one the migswitch is attached to. (I don't own a mig switch nor a switch 2 so please correct me)Official statement from MIG with a video demonstration of the upcoming update.
To me, it looks like before he inserted the MIG, echoes was in the first space, but without the little 'inserted cart' icon next to the pic. When it pushed in the MIG, the 'inserted cart' icon activated. He then pushed the button on the MIG and the next game became active on the MIG. I think he pushed the MIG button again and it went back to echoes of wisdom, and he then launches it.Can someone explain this, please? Ah, got it. Agree on it being blurry but I think people are saying it's legit. They might be trying to make it look so bad so they don't draw too much attention or they are just bad at making videos.
Probably imported from Japan since they have the cheapest units ($350), but it's region lockedI didn't understand why all games are Japanese on SW2 they showed on migflash official site.

Nope. It's pretty much a cartridge that can store multiple games at once and you can switch between them by ejecting the cartridge (v1) or pressing the physical button on top of it (v2). I made a post here about pros and cons about using the MIG Switch.Stupid question, this mig (i dont know what Is It) mod switch 2 likes atmosphere switch1?
No it is just for playing either backups of your own games (need the MIG dumper) or for playing pirated copies you can find online. No homebrew, no CFW.Stupid question,i have switch 1 with atmo, now i buy switch2, this "mig"i dont know what Is It mod switch2 likes the switch1?
