Gaming Microsoft points & xbox live redeem cards

Microsoft points will not work if you buy them in the USA. The live will and its a lot cheaper. I get one of my american buddies to buy a cheap xbox live card and then email me the code. Its a big difference £40 if you buy it via the credit card, if you get it through amazon.co.uk its cheaper. If you get one from america and are lucky, it could end up costing you £20 for the year.
That's a bargain. I recently spent £39.99 for my 12mo membership but I did it using Xbox Live (Silver obviously). I was desperate to explore Paradise City, what can I say!
