Hacking micro sd card won't stick in acekard 2?

well i just bought a brand new acekard 2 after I put my dstt in the washing machine, and my micro sd card won't fit into the slot... Is this supposed to happen?
I have a 2gb kingston if it matters

press it down all the way and it will click lol

there is no way it doesn't fit. make sure you are putting it in the right way, make sure you push all the way down. if you have an ak2i you might need to push it harder that expected. it appears the non-spring loaded shells have an issue with this.
