Hacking Metroid Prime Wii De Asobu Issues

Anyone have any methods of booting??? if so please do tell or this is a bad dump or it's the loader that is not working properly

I have cIOSCORP and it boots and works fine. On SoftChip, I didn't even had to select the japanese option on the menu to get it to work. I honestly have no idea why it isn't working for you guys, but I currently have 1 hour of gameplay and had no problem at all.

// EDIT

Also, it doesn't have #002 protection, if you're wondering...

I got it working just by running it through the Backup Launcher. There doesn't happen to be a way to change the language to English, is there?

and I already own MP3. Also, apparently having CIOSCORP installed helps this run. A guy I was helping couldn't run the game until he installed it.

I've tried the game with disc channel, it didn't work.
I've tried Gamma Loader (the old version not the 002 fix) and it works, I used Platinum DVD-R at 16x

Maybe you could try it.
I still get the same error when i use all versions of the backup loader,Beta,Gamma and softchip.

whoever got there version to work, let us know where you procured this from so we can try it.....the copy i have only loads the main menu and reboots when you try to start the game

Problems here too. 3.2U, no chip, Gamma 002 fix, downloaded WiiSOS from MegaUpload (not the torrent one) and only used BrickBlocker, no further patches. Boots fine with both standard and Force PAL60, but after selecting a savefile the game reboots.

I got the 3.2E firmware and just burned the game with the update (didn`t use anything to remove it) and just started it with geckoOS and it works.
The only thing that still is really annoying is, that it is all in red when a rgb-cable is used... I wouldn`t mind that for Metroid, since it will eventually come to europe and to the US but that is surely a problem for games like TvsC...

Cool, great news theres a solution for softmodders.

And as the other guy said, it doesn't need the firmware update, so don't run it.. be safe and brickblock it.

btw.. i have a solution for the sluggish controls... goto options (press '2' then '-' )

then press 'a' to select the first category, then choose the middle option for mp3 like controls, it's much more responsive. I haven't tried the third option yet

this game is awesome!
