heres how i got it working with usbloader gx, dol from disc no workee for me

If alternative .dol loading from disc does not work but from sd, the question is which cIOS do you use? If it's not 13a, the game could be a 002b game, did you try anti 002 fix with alternative .dol loading from disc?

PS: And cIOSrev14 really can't play the game, so if you have cIOSrev14, that's why loading the .dol from disc does not work.

im using rev 13b. alt dol worked from sd in usbloader gx rev 688 channel version using the method laid out in that document.

And my question? What's the result with cIOSrev13a or with anti 002 fix enabled and alternative .dol loading from disc?

cos with gx you can only have 1 save, cant use the bonus content and can't select veteran difficulty. there's no way to access the menu.

Ugh, right now it would seem easier just to put the disc in a play it from there

Using the At.dol method to load each game is all very well. But no good if you want to select difficulty level.

Its feasible that an ocarina patch will eventually come out to alleviate the difficulty problem

does any1 know if mp1 supports 480p? i'm getting 480i in gx.

yeah, it does support 480p. If you play it off the disc they run in 480p, but if you play it off a usb loader (any loader) it runs in 480i for some reason.

If anyone is able to get this to run in 480p from a usb loader, tell us how.

I have a problem...
The reason I use a harddrive, is because of my broken diskdrive...
Can someone send me an empty save? So I can start completely for myself.
Just a savegame wich is created by starting the game, but not played.
Help would be really appreciated!

Any savegame would work
You'd just have to choose "delete all data" (or whatever its called) in the main menu. This will keep the save file, but with new games

Sure? So you do get in the main menu? I thought it was instant play or something, since you can't choose difficulty.
Anyway, in that case, can someone send me a savegame?
Yes I googled, but I can't find one (Try it yourself, you won't find them)

I only get 480i with disc.

Playing via any loader by selecting one of the game-specific dols as an alternate dol launches the game in 480i, regardless of the media from which the game is loaded. It also seems to set the difficulty to "Normal", when "Veteran" is what most people should be using.

If there is a means of getting around this, I do not know what it is. I have the game on a DL disc. Launching from Neogamma and using the default dol loads the game selection menu, but selecting any of the games causes the "half-green" screen followed by a return to the system menu. Launching one of the game-specific dols off of the disc loads the relevant game directly, at 480i and "normal" difficulty.

Hopefully a means of getting around this will be released soon.

you dont need to do that.
load up the game with no alt-dol. it comes to the main menu
make a profile, but dont launch a game
home>wiimenu
go back to whatever loader
use alt-dol for the game you want

Mine loads at Veteran difficulty...

From someplace else -

USB LOADER GX:

1-Rip the game to the External HD.
2-Select the game, but instead of playing the game select settings.
3-Select game load, select Alternate DOL until DOL from disc is displayed
4-Under Alternate DOL it should say DOL from disc and there should be 4 options:

rs5fe_p - The main menu. You are required to play this first to create a save file.

Then reset the Wii, and this time choose one of the other DOL files, depending on which game you want to play.

rs5mp1_p - Metroid Prime 1
re5mp2_p - Metroid Prime 2
rs5mp3_p - Metroid Prime 3
