Hacking Menu?

i'm such an idiot i erase everything on my r4i gold 1.4 but i forgot to keep the r4imenu. the problem is that in my kernel there isn't any r4imenu file so i'm stuck with the menu? screen.

anybody got an idea to fix my problem?

Is there any way to download the r4imenu?

Maybe it's on the website and i'm just blind, or my r4 is good for the junk?

Go to the website on your card and download the kernel, then put all the files from the download onto your microSD

Edit: You won't need to duplicate any of the files from the firmware already on your card, if you have a spare microSD use that.

The menu? message usually means the kernel can't be found, you sure you got the correct firmware or set it up correctly?

it was working before itS just because there's the r4imenu folder missing

The spanish version actualy work (strangely,it's in english) it's too old to support pkm black 2 but i don't care right now

still don't work, i'm downloading the right kernel ( there's only one ), on the right website but it still say ''menu?''

do i have to install a patch or semething

There's two more download pages. The site is trying to hide the fact that it drops support for older carts by not linking the download pages for the older models.

The second link is too old to run pokemon black/white 2

Then you'll have to dual-boot it with YSmenu and RGF's updates to run new games.

So you're using the kernel from this link? http://www.r4igold.cn/downloade2.asp

If so, you need to use the DSTTi-Clone YSMenu folder in my v6.99 Update and copy the contents to your µSD.

You will then need to rename TTMenu.dat to iLL.iL (but make sure you have all file extensions showing before renaming, otherwise it won't rename correctly) otherwise you'll get a Red Menu? error

Spoiler: How to see all file extensions

Open My Computer.
Click Tools in the Menu Bar (top left corner of screen).
Click Folder Options
Click View Tab
Untick Hide extensions for known file types
Click Apply
Click OK
