ive heard alot of girls say Men/boys dont cry

im surely not the only one that sheds a tear every now and then

i was only raised by my mother so im quite a emotional person, and movies, serious pain and loss of life make me cry
e.g. "the Notebook", "titanic", losing a pet, a good song, having your heart broken

i just wanna know if men do cry or dont they
i find it to beleive if they dont

you dont have to say why just say so in the poll

I wasn't.

Then I watched Clannad/played Valkyria Chronicles/went through Family Project.

It's rare, and I don't cry very often. Buuuut sometimes things just really get to me.

A man's human. Yeah and proud of it, however i'm not too used to.

There are several things, like someone you love, family member, dies, and it's completely normal.

But, if you just cry because... everything, rather than fixing the very problem, then you might be not as man as you think.

it has to be something quite emotional for me to cry propperly
i shed a tear on movies etc or a lump in the throat

your talking to someone who goes home to no one and has to do everything himself and i get quite down but dont cry about it

but i was talking to a girl yesterday and i said "the notebook has a really sad ending that makes me cry" and she replied "but men dont cry"
and its not the first time ive heard a girl say this

i know people cry but i want to know how common it is

I cry

The dumbest thing I cried about must've been when:

Ash got turned into stone

Yes. I cry.

Over "stupid" things, like the end of Code Geass and all of Clannad.
And also when my girlfriend flew back home this morning.
I cried so much after we'd dropped her off and I got home.

I get watery eyes sometimes when watching a sad movie and such. The only time I cried in the past six years was when I had to dig the grave of newborn kittens.

I used to cry a lot, specially in 5th grade, when I was shunned by my classmates and bullied by my teacher.

Now, I don't cry so much anymore. Last time I did cry, it was involuntary lacrimation caused by vomiting, some 6 months back. Last time I went to a funeral a few years back, I couldn't get brought to tears and felt bad about it.

I supposed I'm more of a happy person, then?

EDIT: I voted no. I feel lonely for that ._.

I do cry. Just because you are of a certain gender or category of any kind doesn't mean you don't have to be attached to a certain adjective. Heck, there shouldn't even be classification between humans. We are all basically the same.

That Dell data breach is worse than people probably realize....
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
When I worked for Dell we had access to data about military contracts and addresses for high ranking people.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I personally handled a call from the second highest person at Raytheon. That call bothered me a lot... The guy was nice and smart what bothered me was the way management basically just blew him off instead of going the extra mile to help him.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
In the end that call ended up costing Dell millions in lost contracts with Raytheon, and really the issue could have been solved for like 450 bucks lol
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
sometimes I wonder why anyone would ever buy mega man x legacy collection 2
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
I always thought that capcom shuffled the games in these collection, but apparently they are all in chronological order, which makes legacy collection 2 worthless
