You mean like the parade of clones that was battle network and its offshoots?

That said in the past I had wondered about and possibly praised the business logic for wasting a dev team on a less than brilliant megaman game.... I think my simple spanner thrower's mind underestimated the situation though. I reckon the dev teams make a pitch to "revive" megaman and then when it "inevitably" does not pan out they get to make the game they wanted but with the bonus of the "megaman" engine as they had made it.

It's a shame that Capcom are too pig ignorant to release games in a series that doesn't sell that well enough to warrant new games. How fucking dare they take financial reasons into consideration.

Besides this has nothing to do with Gargoyles Quest or Clock Tower so I don't care, I'd prefer that they ran those series into the ground and hurt them further.

Man I should start a company just to take the burden of mega man, that is clearly too much for their rich asses, off their hands
