I think its about that time where the old mega man NES classics have a facelift for the 3ds, I really think that would be awesome. Can you imagine the way mega man dies, BUT IN 3D?
I do not know what you mean with "IRL" since Mega Man was not real... I guess it meant that CAPCOM announced Keiji Inafune abandon their company, no notice from CAPCOM (or not source) that they have yet no interest in continuing the franchise even some rumors said that CAPCOM declared the franchise with no future.
Maybe CAPCOM is not really interested in the Mega Man series to ask for a 3D Classics like Twinbee (Konami) and Kid Icarus which were awesome.
