The dialogue translation is a fork of the original UI translation - so if you're running the latest translation from this thread (1.1.5) it won't feature any of the machine translated dialogue that @roks7074 has done with their fork

hello, im very new to this. so im not sure if i did it correctly or not but would like to ask for your opinion.

Ive downloaded the latest data and story files in the thread, decrypted edited and rebuilt the cia into a CCI, installed the update and DLC from hshop and managed to play until i enrolled in the meda academy,

but i noticed a lot of the text was still in JP, this includes general dialogue, the menus and part installation when we just got the medarot from the principal during enrollment.

Though from the posted screenshots it seems that most of what i listed should be in ENG, is the issue then because of the latest posted files? or is it because I updated and installed the DLC cia into the edited CCI?

Appreciate if you or anyone else could advise. loving it so far but difficult to enjoy the story as i cant read JP at all.

The original translation project from @Sotaeko isn't focused on character dialogue (please correct if wrong).
If you are using their latest update (the data and story files in the thread), then I imagine most character interactions would appear in the original language. The latest update for story patch stated it was for the beginning of tutorial and beginning of story.

If you are looking to play with machine translated character dialogue, then I recommend checking out @roks7074 fork of this translation that they posted in this thread. Their patch primarily focuses on dialogue text and is based on Sotaeko's translation. You might even be able to merge the latest data translation from Sotaeko with it. I haven't tried, but I don't imagine it would break anything.

DLC is fine and shouldn't affect anything with the translations.

Thank you. one thing i noticed as well is that items become "robo medal".

any new items i pickup become a robo medal and i cant use nor remove them.

Do you have any idea on this? I attached a SS in case it would help.

Whoa, that's a new one for me haha. I'm not sure why that's happening.
Maybe someone else here has encountered that.
