Correct. The (E) release has different piracy checks than the (U) release therefore DSTT v1.17a07 will not fix it. You'll have to wait for another unofficial DSTT firmware update which may be days, weeks or even months away.

Or by a better flashcart.

You have a TTDS? Delete every firmware file from your SD card before adding the new firmware. Don't just overwrite.

If you have a -REAL- R4 or M3Simply, give a2h's YSMenu Generator a try.
Until we know what kind of card you have, there isn't much help we can give you.

Do NOT use a patched ROM.
The patched ROM only works on certain cards that don't have a fix in the firmware itself.
If your YSMenu doesn't work, you did something wrong because YSMenu works on M3Simply.

my 2 cents on this issue for a guy who uses the dstt , I noticed to get this game working you needed the "unnoficial dstt" firmware loaded onto the flash card as mentioned in the previous posts (v.1.17a07), but make sure that dma mode is turned "on" to play as well , malbis refused to run without the dma turned on for me , hope this helps some of the dstt users out there.

Reason: No pre-built YSmenu allowed on GBAtemp - Toni PlutonijI belive OozTGM was linking a 'prebuilt' DSTT not YSMenu.
I was going to make a post about it earlier, but when I checked the download I'm pretty sure it said 'DSTT v1.17a03'.

If you're using the (U) version, then your YSMenu isn't installed properly.
Back up your card, rebuild YSMenu, format and copy just the YSMenu and games to your card.
If you're still trying to use the (E) version, I dunno what to tell you... the (E) version has more/different security checks in it and is causing problems just like when the (U) version came out.
