This time, as a bootable NDS file.
All games load just fine.
But in M & L 3, its just a black screen after selecting save file...

My suggestion is to run it as firmware.
I have no experience running YSMenu as anything BUT firmware, however I will say that I had the problem you're now having when I was running the R4li Firmware -- I was able to select the game save, but it would just go to a black screen.
If that is the firmware you are using, then I'm fairly confident that building YSMenu as a firmware replacement will solve your problem.

I'm getting a weird issue. I am running the cracked version of the game, and it works fine until I click "New Game." I can even manipulate the water before that. Once I click "New Game," the controls lock-up completely, except for reset.

I followed the instructions on the OP, but now, I can't even reset.

I am running Supercard DS ONEi. I downloaded the 3.0 OS SP8 and firmware 1.1. This game seems to be the only one that doesn't work.

Don't use card specific hacks/cracks/patches/AR Codes unless they are for your specific card's firmware... and then not unless your official firmware DOES NOT support the game natively.
Once the firmware supports the game, you should not need to use any patches or codes to play the game.
At that point, playing with a patched ROM or enabling the codes can only cause issues with your gameplay.


As for the Supercard, I have no experience with it or its compatibility with YSMenu.
You're better off asking in the Supercard forums how to get the game or YSMenu working for your card.

I played M&L (U) with a around 15 hour file, but now M&L (E) is released, i tried it and it freezes at save screen... Why? What's the difference between those 2 versions?

Probably just different security checks.

The fix in thread fixes the (U) release. If it doesn't fix the (E) release don't worry - the (U) release contains French.

This works for R4 and clones of the R4 (not just cards that have R4 in their name) like the M3 Simply which are able to use YSMenu.
The M3 Real, and I would guess the M3i Zero are not based off the R4 and use their own firmware provided my M3.

Triassic's Guide of getting YSMenu Installed worked perfectly well to Getting M&L3 To work...and it only took me 30 Minutes to get YSMenu Installed. So...this Method wasn't really required, but Thanks for Another Method.
