Ok I've tried everything I can find suggestions for n this forum, still no results. Here's my details, any assistance would be appreciated.
Wii NTSC-U 3.2U firmware (after wiiware update)
D2Pro (full 19 wire, region-free install) firmware 1.0
note: all my attempts are w/ os x 10.5.2's own disc utility @ 6X on Memorex 16X DVD-R's... all iso up to this one works... this is first non-NTSC-U title i've tested.
1) raw .iso burn no modifications : it detected disc as requiring wii update, ejected cause it's the E update.
2) (in windows xp, via parallels) modified .iso w/ brick blocker, then burn : it now detects it as mario kart disc, it launches to black screen only.
3) (in windows xp, via parallels) modified .iso w/ brick blocker & regionfrii (to ntsc mode), then burn : same issue as attempt #2.
anything else i can attempt? anyone else have any success on the D2Pro chip set on NTSC console?
