ROM Hack mario kart ds AR codes help

every time i play a match, someone always uses "infinite spike shell code" and nonstop hits me. it was actually pretty funny and fun when it happend

but i wanna get back at them...

in my R4 there are codes like that but they dont even work online....the "always have" and "press ___ for ___" dont work online, but they do in normal mode...help please
