I've yet to play Mario Galaxy in full...just the demo.

But I can tell you, if the demo is just half the game, it's bleeping awesome.

I guess you may not like adventure games or this one atleast.
Innovation? Playing as Mario in space (grafity!) with the Wii Remote, that's some innovation if I seen it.

And what's your beef with the game? Innovation taken out...

I guess he doesn't like the planet gravity physics.

Its not right to call it upside down controls, as some of the game is on normal terrain, not always round planets.

It's not heaps innovative. People have been complaining that it's too linear but so were the 2D ones and they were the best.

I think mario galaxy is the best mario game since SMB3

What were you expecting bone monkey?

I made a valid point the other day on a non-pirate thread using some things I read here from thieves experiences.

Seems really that the 2D and 3D mario's parallel pretty damn well...

SMB1 innovated 2D platforming as a model for the future
SM64 innovated 3D platforming as a model for the future

SMB2 mixed things up, great game, but was a quirky oddball
SMS mixed things up, great game, but was a quirky oddball

SMB3 innovated what the original started, added in many colorful areas, many ways to attack things, multiple suits, and many fun things only multiple tries will uncover.

SMG seems to do the same on Wii as SMB3 did on the NES.

I sense a pattern.

BoneMonkey hasn't even played it. He is against piracy. The whole galaxy release thread he just kept yelling at everyone to wait and buy it.

It has the best graphics the Wii has put out yet.
Vampire Hunter D's post is spot on.
