QUOTE said:[07.10.29] Update on Super Mario Galaxy Issue
In addition to the announcement made earlier today about Super Mario Galaxy, we are pleased to confirm that we have now identified the copy protection method responsible and created a fix.
In order to guarantee stability, we have had to make a fairly major change to the way the code works. While all tests have proven positive, the challenge now is to create a delivery system to allow existing Wiikeys to be updated.
As ever, we appreciate your patience and support while we do this.
I'm guessing they're changing it earlier or later or whatnot yeah.. wiikey fix already found n on its way so..Team cyclops has made the chip more "stealthy" and it works , Guess the burnt dvd somehow knows when the RAM has been changed and wont boot,
so I guess that wiikey and other chips should realease an update (if possible) to make the chip more stealthy (like the cyclowiz) and that way it wont change the ram and boot the smg...
just a guess though...
What about the wiinja owners? is it possible for them to play the game without the risk of a brick Wii?
I'd think it would be in the Wiikey Team's best interest to get this update out as soon as they can...especially since this could cost them sales. They are in the business to make money of course...otherwise, people will be buying Cyclowiz's.
Wooo Yah My guess was right! The Wiikey team are working on a update as we speak! Go to page 8. This guess came from suck a young mind. Cant wait for the update.
