Gaming mario and luigi rpg 3 bug

Some of you must've encountered the problem already, so i'll explain it. I'm using R4 ver. 1.18.


game starts fine, but when i get to selecting a new file for a new game, i selected it, and screen just goes black. any way to solve the problem?

r4 + yasumenu would definitely work!

make sure the piracy code is on
