So I bought a DS Lite wanting to play games. I saw that the R trigger was broken and not working. I tried many ways to fix it, like blowing, cleaning, all that; in the end, it didn't work. I am thinking about soldering a new one onto it, but before I do, is there a sure way to make sure I don't break it in the process, or to not do it at all? Are there any games that I like that I can't play on it, or that it plays with difficulty, to see if I should do it or not? Thanks in advance

Some of you must've encountered the problem already, so i'll explain it. I'm using R4 ver. 1.18.

game starts fine, but when i get to selecting a new file for a new game, i selected it, and screen just goes black. any way to solve the problem?
