Great video :) quick question: do you have sound of speech when spiderman get onto the wall in the intro ? I saw may videos on youtube about spiderman the video game and it have voice sound and I dont have it on my side on Wii, I wonder if it is a bug or something else ?
I have not noticed my friend. As long as I can, I'll see it.

In the video you said that World Rally and World Rally 2 works.. the first one shows garbled graphics for me and the second doesn't load. Are you sure that they works?
Hi. What I said in the video is that World Rally 1 works halfway (confusing graphics as you say). And if World Rally 2 works, try restarting RetroArch before loading it. Greetings.

It worked this time, yeah. I always restart RetroArch to load a game after play another, I don't know why the other time didn't worked. It has speed and sound problems, and it looks deformed due to the 2 cabinets being showed in the screen... It would be great if the first World Rally works here (or in FBA).

The reading from "load recent" of some games like combat school or aquajack hangs and blocks. It is a failure that already occurred in the stable version 1.7.0 of the core of mame2000 with games like hardhead, and that they solved in version 1.7.1. Let's see if you can solve this bug, because I think it's more comfortable to set the game to the load core and load later from "load recent"

I gave with a solution for the load without errors from "load recent" for the combat school and aquajack. You have to load the roms of the official mame of any web (0.184), the one of combat school you have to rename the rom (combatsc to combasc)
Edit:when loading several times it returns to give error

I try to run dungeon magic but it doesnt run. Any idea why ? I double my rom with RomCenter tool and it supposed to be ok. When I try to load it, it return to homebrew channel after 5 sec.

I also try to load oriental legend, it return to retroarch menu. I see in the source in driverwii.c the orlenged driver is between #if 0 #endif ... ?

You're trying the wrong core for oriental legend. PGM driver is excluded as explained in the first post. #if0 directive is a bit like a comment /* */ or //. Here it means : don't use.

Don't forget the pgm bios.

Dungeon magic may be too large to load. All taito f3 games are probably slow too.

I try to compile it with: make platform=will subtarget=coreA and I get this error:

Hi, do you think it is possible to run mame 2003 game on vwii that doesnt run on wii ? Like arabian fight, spiderman, golden axe 2, night slashers ? Can vwii use the ram of wii u ?

I try to install retroarch on wii u with rpx version with the most recent menu, all I get is frozen menu when I enter retroarch so I wonder if vwii can use more ram than regular wii in vwii mode ?


It seems you haven't understood what I explained.

1. The fix for Rtype leo, hook(?) etc : add -fsigned-char in the Makefile.

2. Night Slashers and other deco32 games should run on all platforms without issues. On Wii it's crashing because there's not enough Ram.
I've managed to launch it by adding virtual memory in the code. The game is slow though.

3. There are tiny changes in usrintrf.c and cheat.c. It's just to compile without the neogeo driver.

4. A fix for golden axe 2 would very difficult. Again wii specific, weak cpu.

Ok :) I just need help to install retroarch on wii u, if I use the online installer it install a small version of mame 2003, if I use the rpx version with the new menu like on PC it freeze when I load retriarch... I dont know what to do...

If you are using the retroarch wii and retroarch wiiu on the same sdcard this can be the problem. Try to delete the .cfg files from retroarch folder. If the problem persist, try the most new retroarch wii. 1.7.2 as just released.

By the way, Night Slashers I think is not running on mame 2003 on wiiu, but in other mame cores (don't remember exactly the version)

Can we play denjin makai 1 on wii ? I use fba 2012 to play denjin makai 2 but no cores seem to support the 1st title ?
