Gaming Making a Pandora Battery for PSP-2000 with PSP-1000?

I have a partially broken PSP-1000 (Some buttons stick, but console still functions) on OFW 3.XX (I haven't used it since 2007 and it's not charged so I'm not exactly sure on the exact version) and my current PSP, which is a PSP-2000 on OFW 5.51. I was wondering if I could use ChickHEN and make a Pandora battery using my PSP-1000 and the PSP-1000's battery. This way, I can use the PSP-1000's Pandora battery on my PSP-2000 and put CFW on it. Can I use a PSP-1000 Pandora battery made on a PSP-1000 with a PSP-2000?

But before I install CFW on my PSP-200, I have 2 more questions:

1. It doesn't matter what Motherboard I have on my PSP-2000 if I'm using a Pandora battery, right?

2. What's the best CFW currently above 5.00 and has good compatibility with PSX games (Mainly with Square Enix RPGs like Final Fantasy VIII and Chrono Cross)?

1. It matters. Newer model Slims have the unpandorable ta88v3 motherboards in them.

2. Doesn't matter which firmware you use, PSX compatibility is mostly the same from my own experiences.

I know Ultimate VSH menu can do it. There's a lot of other homebrews that do it as well.
