Hello Peeps,

I recently developed an Android Application which can turn your Android 9 Phone (Not all phones due to missing api) to a ProController.
I will publish some update on this thread but currently you can use almost any USB gamepad to act as Procontroller without CFW.

Please take a look at (I cannot link most probably I do not have enough points ) search on Google Play JoyCon Droid :)

I am also taking feature suggestions if anyone wants to see some killer features.:switch:

Seems cool , but i think i prefer the feel of a pro controller :P. Or any controller really. Never been a fan of using a touch screen for games.

Touch screen isn't the purpose. The point of this app is, it allows you to pair any controller with your android and then control your switch with that controller.

He said CFW isnt needed so that might be the difference.

Amazing... I thought of something like this a few months ago and it's made.

I will definitely check this out!

Feature suggestions? Huh... Now, this probably doesn't make any sense BUT since Android can use Xbox, PS4 and a boat load of other controllers, if you could make the phone act as a relay to the Switch so it appears as a pro controller, that would allow for 3rd party controllers on stock firmware!

Input lag anyone? Let's go!

Edit: omg, it already does this... Mind blown

It doesn't require hid-mitm and can be used on stock FW

So @YouTubePlays I found this while searching for a workaroud to get the BluetoothHID API on android oreo https://github.com/ralismark/bluehid. It says that the API is available in oreo just working differently so your app might work under oreo, feel free to correct me if that is not enough to make it work. Thanks for making this amazing app.

@Kirby567fan Some one I think made the app run on Android Oreo with Xposed so I think it would be possible but I did not try it myself.

I have a Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite running Android 9. Bluetooth HID Tester said my device lacks HID. Is this correct? I thought Android One devices would all support it...

If Bluetooth HID is missing you will need system update and I cannot do anything to help. You can also try to get LineageOS if you feel frisky.

can this work with bluetooth controllers
You cannot use a bluetooth controller with this app. I think it is a system limitation where your Android device cannot be both master and slave at the same time.
