    Are they basically the same thing compatibility wise besides maio being able to play media. Does it support cheats cuase i love moonshells interface and think ing of switiching?

    ._. MAIO is just a front-end...It's just the regular Moonshell2...no magical extra options or anything, but it uses AKAIO as an external loader for commercial ROMs...You change cheats with AKAIO...anything game related besides loading it is all covered by AKAIO. IIRC there should be an "AKAIO.nds" to make it convenient to get to AKAIO so you can do that stuff (though I would rather just hold on B while it is loading a game instead of going to that file).
