didnt use any patch driver on moonshell 2 as i dont have any problems on it using DSTT cart. Having larger than 16gb disk (i use 32gb btw)
btw does the driver fix, can resolve my problem in freezing while viewing pictures. As i test it, the problem is still there, so i guess it didnt fix it.

Not really an 'proper' update, since there's been nothing really new in the world of Loaders or fixes etc - so it's more of a 'change in package content'
Anyway - I've added a 'v1.01 Maio package'
Moonshell 2.09 with AKAIO 1.6RC2 support added...
There's a little more added/tweaked (see the changelog in first post for details), but not much
Done it mainly because I really want a 'fully working' package (splash etc) - & I was finding several minor irritations with the 'v3' package due to the 'frigs' to get it to work...
I hate to nitpick... but is there any way to make the loading of AKAIO/Games faster?
I noticed that there is a VERY short loading time at the start, but when you select a game it takes a rather "long" time to load -- when compared to the YSLoader and the Moonshell Loader.
It's not a real problem, but it somewhat detracts from the smoothness.
Bloody hell. you ARE nitpicking aren't you....by my reckoning it's only ~ 1-2secs 'longer' starting
True it does 'spoil' the effect by not seeming seamless loading (personnaly I would like a way to 'disable' the status popup OR change the colour scheme(s) of them - even if it means using a HEX editor to change a HEX setting or something) - that's why I prefer to have both Moonshell & AKAIO to 'look similar'
But how to speed them up ?? - I wouldn't know... but I guess that the only way you could 'speed up' running games is if :-
a) We don't have Xenon++ status text pop up (the brown/tan coloured screen)
b) A way to get AKAIO to bypass loading in it's GUI @ go straight to it's loader instead (don't forget AKAIO is more 'graphically pretty' than YSMenu - so I guess it'll take a little time to load in the Graphics THEN load in the game)
And I guess THAT will never happen unless Xenon++ creates a special version of his inilink file that doesn't show 'status page' and if the AKAIO team bring out a special loader (like the nds.akaio.nds one)
Hmm that's weird - I've downloaded MAIO v3 & tried it out on my setup & it works fine
What your setup (DSLite/Phat/DSi) ? and what's your Acekard version (boot into AKAIO > Press [start] > Select 'Help'), also what size/type of MicroSD card are you using
What's the problem ? - can you describe it please.
Alternatively - look at the video on the first post & tell me what's different between my boot-up & yours (there's gonna be a few differences since the skin & splash screens are slightly different between versions) - it might give me a better idea to what it could be
e.g 'At 0:18 of your video, just after the blue Loading.. flashes a blue screen - I don't see the blue screen flash up & it stays on the LOADING... ' (or whatever does happen)

it load the moonshell2 to the title screen
what i see is
Moonshell ver 2.10 stable (xenon++ fix)
Arm RVCT3.1 BUILD [794]
Quick Diskcheck initiated.
checking for dupliate cluster & fragments
progress... 0% 1 files
when i copy every thing to my flashcard
it come whit the message system files missing
because akmenu4.nds is missing
and than if i download the the akaio shit
than it hang when loading

So it works fine until you 'copy everything to my flashcard'
- Let me guess when you mean everything.. you mean EVERYTHING, even the 'akmenu4.nds' and '_aio' folder ????
If so - there's your problem (possibly) .. you are overwritting the neccessary file(s) to allow moonshell to autoboot up - and that's why you're gettin 'system files missing'
As mentioned in the first post
QUOTENow add your ROMS,Music,Pictures,Homebrew etc to the MicroSD card
- It doesn't say 'as well as the system folders and akmenu4.nds' (Perhaps I should make that bit a little clearer
)
Follow the instructions on first post again but this time Install 'MAIO v3' then copy over JUST your games/videos/music files & DON'T overwrite any of the existing files of MAIO (although I'm puzzled why the other versions worked fine - unless you installed them AFTER you copied over your game files etc)

I copy everything from your maio v3
but there is no akmenu4.nds in the map
so i download the _Aio and Akmenu4.nds normal from normatt his site
and past that

???? There's no akmenu4.nds in the MAIO v3 download ?????
That can't be right 'cos it is - I've just downloaded it AGAIN to check
You CAN'T download Normmatts version & copy them over (well - you can copy the '_aio' folder, but not the 'akmenu4.nds' file)
- it's because the 'akmenu4.nds' file used in MAIO is NOT the same as the one in Normmatts - it's an alternative program that allows moonshell to boot up
(in fact it's the 'moonshl2alt.nds' file found in Xenon++ mshl2link tools inside the 'reset_mse' folder)
I don't know why you don't have it in your download of 'MAIO v3' - Have you tried downloading it again, just in case it was a corrupt download or something
Alternately - use a 'akmenu4.nds' from one of the other MAIO packs... It's the same file

That IS weird - not only is 'akmenu4.nds' is not showing BUT the 2 NDS that do exist are showing as 'Word' Icons
One thing I have noticed - file extensions are not showing, so that got me thinking of something else
I've just been double checking my MAIO v3 & it seems somehow when I made the package the 'Hidden' attribute for akmenu4.nds got changed (I always have 'show hidden files' so never noticed before)
Not sure how to do it on your OS (looks like Vista/Win7 ??) but can you try & 'show hidden files' and see if 'akmenu4.nds' shows up - I think THAT's the problem
maybe that while be an option
how do i make hidden file visible?
Edit: the nds files as word that is normal
Edit Edit:i`m now trying it again
Edit Edit Edit:No stil not working
i while upload a video so you can see
Ah.... so you've finally got it (moonshell) to autoboot.... but the problem now is it's now stuck @ 0% on bootup
That's usually due to the disk check function of Moonshell (don't know why but some people get this problem and others don't - I've never had it myself personnally)
- luckily there's a easy way to get round this with 'Moonshell v2.1'
Inside the 'moonshl2' folder there's a file called 'moonshl2.ini' - open this up with 'notepad' and scroll down to the line
AlwaysDisabledCheckDisk=0
Change this to
AlwaysDisabledCheckDisk=1
and save the file. This will disable the disk check function & you should be able to boot into Moonshell
(One word of warning though ... I've read that when the Disk check fails - it tends to mean that the MicroSd card has a corrupted file on it somewhere - not necessary to do with Moonshell. A full format & reinstall can cure this sometimes)
