The best part would be that the prices would be incredibly high because there wouldn't be any competition.AXYPB said:Imagine if every flashcart developer got together. They would release a product so useful it would put the entire games industry out of business.

umm then what are you waiting for you could have been running sakura all this time! i have and so have many others . its as easy as downloading the unofficial sakura ( available here btw) and putting it on your card.. love sakura and now with the new version available its just got a huge notch better.Mushkin said:I bought my m3 real like 6 months ago, in hope of using sakura, f*ck it never comes outit makes me mad, i invested in the card and still waiting for that, when the japanese firmware, was already updated like 2 times. sorry for my rant...![]()

You don't understand that official english Sakura will be EXACTLY THE SAME as the one available here for download, but probably with fixed homebrew support.....Mushkin said:I bought my m3 real like 6 months ago, in hope of using sakura, f*ck it never comes outit makes me mad, i invested in the card and still waiting for that, when the japanese firmware, was already updated like 2 times. sorry for my rant...![]()
I think English M3 Reals have "Supports M3Sakura" on it, so it'll probably be M3Sakura.powered_by_tux said:I had some thought on a possible offical English version of Sakura. Will it still be called "Sakura" or does it get a more, well, international name? My point is that anyone outside Japan will most likely not know what "Sakura" is supposed to mean. I did not know either until I fired it up for the first time, my first thought afterwards was that Cherry blossom is a not so well-suited name for a flash card. So, will it get a rename to something cool or maybe more attracting for novices? I really don't care for name or look as long as it works well.

I don't even know what "M3 Simply" or "M3 Real" means (or N5, G6, R4, DSTT, etc.). Well, I think the "TT" in "DSTT" means "top toy," but that still doesn't make sense. These names probably sound cooler in Chinese or something. Maybe something got lost in translation.powered_by_tux said:I had some thought on a possible offical English version of Sakura. The R4DS stands for "Revolution 4 DS", ie. Revolution for DS. Dunno about the M3 or the G6. N5 is just a rip-off the R4, so obviously they don't know what the R4DS stands for so they just add 1 to the number hoping it would fool people.Densetsu3000 said:I don't even know what "M3 Simply" or "M3 Real" means (or N5, G6, R4, DSTT, etc.). Ah, thanks for the clarification on R4. Now that actually makes sense.Chrono_Tata said:The R4DS stands for "Revolution 4 DS", ie. Revolution for DS. Dunno about the M3 or the G6.
