Hacking M3i zero refuses to load boot menu

I bought an M3i Zero a few months ago and it worked perfectly for a time. Now however, when I turn on the DS and select the "Danny Phantom" icon, it just won't load. When you load other games there's a brief pause of a white screen while it loads the game up, but when I load my M3i, the white screen sticks around permanently. I've been trying recently to change firmwares to see if that would help, but I'm not really sure what I'm doing.

Any suggestions?

EDIT: I just tried to remove the SYSTEM file and re-flash it, but now the light on the M3i just blinks once and stops. It doesn't stay on or anything. It just turns off and stays off.

Have you tried using another Microsd? It may also be a contact issue you may need to try the paper trick as well.

I just tried using a brand new Microsd, but it still won't flash. Could it be the cable's fried?
