We keep getting a million posts of the same crap that doesn't work or other stupid ideas/theories that have been discussed at least a few dozen separate occasions within each major thread.

Yeah, I remember seeing that thread... I was hoping one more clearly labeled might help. I guess either way the madness has calmed down now that most people realize we have to wait for firmware updates.

LOL, there is no "ap software" within a ROM to prevent piracy. Even though i know nothing about ROM hacking, i know that nintendo wouldnt simply put a "single software" to prevent piracy. If they did, we wouldnt be having this conversation, and that people would be playing HGSS alrdy

It loads on YSMenu at least (and possibly the R4 firmware itself?), so all that you'd need is the AP patch
