Hacking M3 Slot 1 card keeps freezing on me?

Hey guys, I have an M3 card with a 1GB Kingston memory card. Now it didnt used to do this, but now it freezes once and a while, most notable after i leave it in sleep mode and shut my ds. Do you guys know whats going on?

Did the card die or did the memory stick die.

I do believe it has something to do with the contacts on the chip not reaching the DS's. It just barely reaches, and a simple tap just right on the back of the DS will separate the contacts and cause it to freeze. Closing the DS to sleep can do this "tap".
