Hey guys just bought a m3 simply and i also ordered a mimcro sd memory, sandisk. I've heard that sandisk ones don't work well or something? or was it japanese ones that were faulty? Are there any known problems with the sandisk micro sd? If so then which micro sd is the best for m3 simply? Thanks in advance guys!

The best MicroSD for flashcarts are the Toshiba cards, marked only with "SD-C01G JAPAN"
They are made in Japan. The ones made in Taiwan are inferior and do not work with some games.

You can get that card labeled as Kingston from Newegg for 10 dollars for 1gb. I got 3 of them last week and all are "SD-C01G Japan" ones.

Sandisk stands for quality IMO, Yes, there might be some faults, like with Castlevania PoR, but the problem is really the game itself, since it actually also happens on real game carts..(just a tad less)

Transcend is also a high quality manufacturer, I have lots of RAM products from them, they come with a lifetime warranty. Yet I have Kingston micro SD for the M3 Simply with zero probs. Sandisk is facing huge problems with chinese fakes (especially the normal SD).

I'm looking into the Transcend 2GB MicroSD (model mnfctr no. TS2GUSD).

I'm looking mainly for a 2GB MicroSD card to work with my m3 simply that would be capable of running Castlevania : POR without any problems.

Have any one of you tested it in POR and how is the compatibility?

I'm looking into getting that card as well. It's 20 bucks cheaper than the SanDisk card and has the same specs. Whats up with that?
