Hacking M3 Ds real

Hi Folks,

I have been struggling to get M3 to work with 1GB Kingston micro sd cards. Sometimes the ds boots with the M3 logo, others it just shows 2 white screens. The same sd card works in an R4. I have been doing some research into Taiwan V Japan made cards and have found the following info, from a handy utility called hd tach.

Taiwan Random access 1.5m/s 10.0mb/s average read
Japan Random access 0.6m/s 10.2mb/s average read
Japan Random access 0.8m/s 10.1mb/s average read
Japan Random access 0.7m/s 10.1mb/s average read
Taiwan Random access 1.7m/s 9.7mb/s average read
Japan Random access 0.8m/s 10.0mb/s average read

All the above work in M3 Real & R4

Taiwan 0.9ms 18.0m/s average read
Taiwan 0.9ms 18.0m/s average read
Taiwan 0.9ms 17.9m/s average read

These only work in R4

I would be interested in knowing the speed of other peoples cards, that won't run in the M3 real. Maybe then the team can change the firmware, so they will run on a wider variety of cards
