why would they implement two buttons instead of just one?

Can't you just push just one button to load it up and thats all a user has to worry about?

Have you ever seen M3 perfect's game manager PC client? If you saw the plethora of options in it, I'm sure you wouldn't have to ask

I think the Y button disables all the extra stuff you can put on it in order to let the game work (this is a step backwards), so things like soft reset and cheats will be automatically disabled to improve compatibility

I've only used the M3 Simply thats why. Never used the Perfect before.

but I can understand now why you'd want two options for compatibility.

However I thought ti was fully done through touchscreen now?

I wonder if they have this option via touchscreen as well?

You can use the touchscreen to navigate your M3 Real.

I have tried quite a few games even the often cited as non-working, Mario Party on download play using the download play button and it works fine.

One real issue is that using Soft Reset will increase the likelihood of a freeze in certain games (Mario Party 3rd level boss is one of them). Could be fixed in an update.

As far as the "crap build quality", don't order your M3 Real from a crap place.

Mine is fine. It is not flimsy. It does fit in the DS. It is fine. My rumble pack did NOT fall apart.

A lot of the "issues" I've been reading in this M3 forum is just from ignorance, really. Put a bunch of them together though and someone might thing there's a serious problem. There just isn't.

Game On!

I order my stuff from DealExtreme from now on.

I've ordered my simply from a retailer here in my country but found that DealExtreme has the best deals lol and I don't mind the two week wait for my item to arrive. They have tracking so its okay.

All 4 of the R4 Revolutions I've purchased there came in fine and dandy along with a lot of other stuff I've ordered.

Question why do I have so many R4s lol. Well its because I've purchased one or two for family friends the others I use as back-ups just in case one gets lost or stolen or even breaks. Plus you can use them for multiplayer it beats using download play.

For the price you can't go wrong.

Download Play: It says on the game screen on the opposite side of the START button: [Y] Enable Download Play.....

Is it that hard to miss >_>?

It isn't, but people are complaining about the requirement for two separate buttons, while other cards just have the function built into its regular loading routine.

I presume the separate button is there for an alternate method only if it doesn't work using the normal button.
