So I have to delete the TWL+AGB patched cia titles with FBI for example, and install fresh and clean titles downloaded from 3DNUS, is that correct ?

Also, do I have to make my sysnand backups under "signature patched mode" or "normal mode" ? does it even matter ?

Yes, install clean TWL+AGB titles, correct. Unsure about your second problem, I just made my backups without changing any settings except for filename, if that helps.

I recommend you to install clean system files from system update.
if you are using updated sysnand or emunand. this is 100% safe with aureinand.

I always recovering or clean up my 3ds system files with this method except old firmware installed 3ds.

Yeah I know that, but the problem is that my sysnand is in 9.2 and I don't have a9lh/aureinand yet. So I have no other choice but reinstall the titles manually.

I can't get the payloads binded to buttons to load. Is there more to do then putting them in the payloads folder and naming them a.bin and so on? When I hold the A button that payload isn't loaded. I'm using ARN 5.1.2.

OK, so at the end I assigned CTRBootManager9 to the start button to use it to load the other a9lh applications. Personally it's more convenient for me than having to memorize which button triggers which. Oh, and I really love the GBA intro patch. The GBA games are more complete now!

I think Plailect's guide assumes you don't have CFW - thus no signature checks patched.

FMP correctly reports 2.46 here. Could you use GodMode9 and tell me the contents of the title/00040138/00000002/content (O3DS) or title/00040138/2000002/content (N3DS) folder?

GodMode9 shows these: 00000000.tmd, 00000001.tmd, 00000004.app, 0000001f.app and a cmd folder with 00000001.cmd and 00000002.cmd . It is a N3DS.

For my Emunand the 00000000.tmd and 00000004.app and the 00000001.cmd are missing. So might these be the actual ones for the 9.0 FIRM and I would have to get rid of the others somehow?

This is seriously messed up, you have 9.0 FIRM files together with 10.4 FIRM files, so ARN picks up the newest one (not much more I can do, as if you upgraded SysNAND you'd need the newest).
Delete 00000001 tmd, 0000001f app, 00000002 cmd

2.50-9 with Use SysNAND FIRM as default (A9LH-only) enabled and the ntr_FIRM installed.

You have both 10.4 and 9.0 FIRMs, if you never downgraded I'm not sure what's wrong with your 3DS. Delete the 10.4 FIRM files.

Yes thats what i thought now. Deleted them and FMP shows up correctly now. I will try with stuff that refused to work earlier in a few moments but I think I should be good now. Don't know how that happened tbh but thank you very much for helping me fix it!

The 5.1.2 archive does not contain the path changer script. Is this no longer necessary if arm9loaderhax.bin is not aureinand itself?

It's FBI fault. You can launch FBI so sigs are obviously patched. Install them with BBM (BigBlueMenu).

I wonder too tho, what makes FBI give that error? If they can even launch FBI that shouldn't happen as you say. Does anyone know?
