Hacking Luigi's Mansion?

Hi....

I'm running WiiGators GC backup .2. I put Luigi's mansion on a multi-disk and it doesn't appear to be working. The game gets to the loading screen and I can select a file to play, then I can select a file and the opening movie (Luigi walking up to the mansion) plays and everything is fine. Once that's done, I just get a black screen. Does anybody else have this problem? I've run the ROM on my PC to test it out and it works fine. Any suggestions? Also, I have the NTSC version and I'm on a NTSC wii...so it's not a PAL problem.

have you tried booting it with B? (in the launcher)

Yeah....tried that to no avail. The funny thing is, the Wii doesn't even do anything when the screen goes black. I don't even here the disc drive wind up or turn over. Really weird. I'm beginning to think it was a bad burn or had a bad sector.....
