ROM Hack LoZST save file error.. i guess

i have a cyclo ds cart(kingston HC4gb microsd)

i used the XPA patch for LoZST and ill save the game, restart it then it will say "creating new save" as if it never made one.. no matter how many times i try to restart.

also the Xenophobia "sig" at the beginning of the game is distorted at the bottom of the picture, is this normal?

can someone help me please

And after all those coutless hours I spent. Damn! Well at least the EZ Flash 5 RC8 update is out with the LOZ:ST fix! Guess I can't complain, I mean I am a pirate...
