If you own a GBA loader like the 3 in 1 I really recomend Mother 3. It's a fantastic experience and one of the best games I've ever played.
And if you enjoyed Soma Bringer, Phantasy Star Online Zero is very similar, although it's only available in japanese I think it's coming in summer to america.

wish i had a gba loader. alas, i do not. wish it was possible to emulate gba on dsi =/

i still have my ds phat but no 3-in-1 and honestly can't see why i would purchase one. just to play mother 3.

Getting something for the slot-2 is a worthy investment. There are soooo many good older games you will enjoy. For sheer volume of goodness, you really can't beat the GBA. The two Golden Suns, for example, are, I think, the best traditional RPGs on any system.

I have a SuperCard Lite. There's a lot of hating on those here, but I haven't had a lick of trouble. There are lots of other options too. Check the reviews section here.

i'm just wondering, i have an acekard for my slot 1. if i purchase a ez v 3 - 1 expansion for slot 2, will it work? or do i need ez flash card in slot 1?

I'm almost sure it'll work.
Heck, it worked on my DS-X I guarantee(sp?) it'll work.

ya i actually have golden sun 2 in physical form, and had traded in golden sun to get it at the local gamestop. probably would be a good idea to get one, plus that would work on my GBA right? or would i need something different?

anyway. phatasy star zero seems like a good choice when it comes stateside.

RPG? On the DS?

Sorry bub, the DS has almost no RPG's, that's like, the least represented genre on the system.
